I DON’T UNDERSTAND PARENTS WHO LET THEIR KIDS “EXPRESS THEMSELVES” HOWEVER THEY WANT.

Parents who let their children express themselves understand that we grow up to be our own person. Simple as that. You can’t control them forever.

Casual Senpai you are right, you can’t control them forever, BUT as long as they are under your roof, they have to learn there are rules that need to be followed.
At least , that’s the way it was when I grew up and when my children grew up. Just my opinion.

Casual Senpai as a parent, to a child, you set boundaries. As the child grows and matures the boundaries change.
If you want to express yourself take up art or music. Get into sports or drama. Once the child is on their own all you can do is watch…

Children are not meant to be molded into versions of us. They are singular beings on their own who have the right to be themselves. I let my son get his ear pierced…. today he doesn’t because he decided he didn’t want it when he was older. He had h…

Casual Senpai I don’t agree with the piercings on the face. But if they want tattoos I’m fine with it. As long as they pay for them. I have them. Having tattoos does not make you a bad person. Neither does different colored hair.

Sounds like you’re more worried about putting on a good front at church and what people think than worshipping God! God wants us to love unconditionally. Sounds like you missed that memo!
